Beth's Clean Bloom is a small house-cleaning business based in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, run as a sole proprietorship. This page says, in plain English, what we do with your information and what you can expect when you book a clean. Questions about any of it: info@bethscleanbloom.com or (724) 494-4690.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • What you type into the booking form: your name, phone, email, town, ZIP, the size of your home, bedrooms and bathrooms, pets, when you'd like a clean, and anything you write in the notes. We do not ask for your street address on the website. You give it to us when we schedule the in-home estimate.
  • Basic visit information that any website's hosting service records automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you requested. This lives in our hosting provider's standard server logs.
  • Anonymous page statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages get visited and how fast they load. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not fingerprint or track you across other websites.
  • Our own visit counts. So Beth can see which pages and which links bring people in, each page you open saves a short note in our Google Cloud Firestore database: which page, when, the website that sent you (just its name, like google.com), any campaign tag in the link you followed, whether your screen is phone, tablet or computer sized, how long the page was in front of you, and taps on the phone number, email address or buttons. To tell one visit from the next, your browser keeps two random codes in its own storage. They are not cookies, they are not linked to your name, and clearing your browsing data removes them. We do not record your IP address or anything you type. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, none of this happens.
  • How you found us, on a booking request. When you send the booking form, it includes a one-line note of how you arrived (for example "google / organic" and the first page you saw), so we know which of our efforts are working.

What we use it for

  • Replying to you, giving you a quote, and scheduling your clean.
  • Appointment reminders and confirmations by text or email.
  • Understanding which parts of the website people actually use.

Who else handles it

We are a one-person business and use a few outside services to run the website. Each one only sees what it needs to do its job:

  • Web3Forms delivers your booking form to our inbox. Web3Forms may keep a copy of the submission on its own systems for up to three years, under its privacy policy.
  • Google (Firebase Hosting and Cloud Firestore) serves the website, stores the text on its pages, and stores the visit counts and booking requests described above. Google's hosting records the basic visit information described above.
  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site, which means your browser requests them from Google when a page loads.
  • Cloudflare provides the anonymous page statistics described above.
  • Payment processors, only if you choose to pay by card. We never see or store your full card number.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except when the law requires it.

Cookies

The public pages of this website do not set cookies. There is nothing to accept or decline. The two random codes used for our visit counts live in your browser's own storage, and your browser's privacy signals (Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track) switch the counting off.

Marketing email

We only send promotional email if you ask for it. Every such email includes a way to unsubscribe, and we honor that within ten business days. Reminders and confirmations about a clean you've booked are not marketing and will still reach you.

Children

This website is for adults booking a cleaning service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Your choices

At any time you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@bethscleanbloom.com and we will respond within seven days. We keep booking details only as long as we need them to serve you and to keep our own business records.

Terms of Service

Estimates and booking

Every clean starts with a free in-home estimate. We walk through your home together, agree on what the clean includes, and you get a written quote. Nothing is booked, and nothing is charged, until you say yes to that quote. Cleans are confirmed by text or email, and we arrive within a fifteen-minute window of the start time. If we are running late, you will hear from us before the window opens.

Your right to cancel a clean agreed at your home

Pennsylvania law gives you the right to cancel any service of $25 or more that you agree to while we are at your home or on the phone with you at home. You can cancel for any reason, without penalty, until midnight of the third business day after the day you agreed. We give you a written Notice of Cancellation (the form we use) at that time so you have the deadline and instructions in hand, and any payment you've made is returned within ten business days of your notice. This right is in addition to our own cancellation policy below, not instead of it.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Life happens. Cancel or reschedule any clean for free with at least twenty-four hours' notice. A same-day cancellation carries a $50 fee, which covers the time we set aside and could not rebook on short notice, and that $50 is credited toward your next clean. If we have to cancel, there is never a charge. Your three-business-day right to cancel, described above, is never subject to this fee.

Prices and sales tax

Prices on this website are starting points. Your written quote is the price for your home. Pennsylvania charges 6% sales tax on house cleaning services, so unless your quote says the price already includes it, tax is added to your invoice.

Payment

Payment is due the day of the clean, by cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, or card. Recurring customers can set up automatic payment after the first visit.

Our guarantee

If something is missed or not done to your standard, tell us within twenty-four hours and we come back and fix it at no charge. We would rather hear about it than have you quietly disappointed.

Damage

If we damage something while cleaning, we tell you, and we make it right. Please tell us during the walkthrough about anything fragile, valuable, or off-limits so we know not to touch it. Because a walkthrough happens before every first clean, our responsibility for damage is limited to items you have given us access to, and to the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.

Keys and access

Many customers give us a key or a garage code after the first visit. Keys are never labeled with your name or address, are kept locked away, and are returned the day you ask. We lock up every time we leave.

What we will not do

  • Hazardous cleanups (mold remediation, biohazard, sewage).
  • Pet accidents older than twenty-four hours.
  • Anything that needs more than a small step stool: roofs, the tops of tall furniture, high exterior windows.
  • Move heavy furniture. We happily clean around, or under whatever you've moved for us.

The legal bits

These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Nothing here takes away rights you have under Pennsylvania or federal consumer law. If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. We may update this page from time to time; the date at the top tells you when.

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website. If you run into something that doesn't work for you, tell us at info@bethscleanbloom.com and we will fix it or find another way to get you what you need.
