About

Hi, I'm Bethany.

And this is the story of how a love of clean homes, fresh flowers, and good neighbors turned into a small cleaning business in Beaver County.

How this started

I have always been the friend who shows up early to help set up and stays late to help clean up.

The kind of friend who, when the wedding's done and the parents are packing up the cooler, is already in the kitchen with a bag and a sponge. Somewhere along the way I noticed that the cleaners I trusted in my own home were the ones I had mixed myself out of vinegar, baking soda, and a few drops of essential oil. They worked. They were cheap. They did not leave my house smelling like a chemistry lab.

So when I decided to start cleaning houses for a living, I knew I wanted to do it the same way. Plant-based products. Local customers. The kind of clean you would want in your own home, because that is exactly the standard I use in mine.

Why sustainable

Two reasons, both honest.

First, the products work. Vinegar dissolves mineral buildup. Baking soda scrubs without scratching. Castile soap cuts grease. The fancy bottles under your sink are mostly water and fragrance with a little of these same ingredients added. Cleaning sustainably is not a sacrifice. It is just paying attention.

Second, the people in my homes deserve it. Kids crawl on the floors I just mopped. Cats lick the counters I just wiped. Whatever I leave behind on those surfaces ends up in the people and the pets I am cleaning around. So I want what I leave behind to be nothing worth worrying about.

Why local

Beaver County is home. I know which streets in Aliquippa get the after-school bus traffic at three thirty. I know that nobody in Bridgewater calls it "Bridgewater" except the GPS. I know the cleaning challenges of an older home in Beaver Falls (radiator dust) versus a newer build in Center (drywall dust that never quite goes away).

I am not trying to be the biggest cleaning service in Pennsylvania. I am trying to be the one your neighbor recommends to you, and the one you trust enough to recommend to someone else.

What you can expect

I clean every home myself, or I send someone I have trained personally and would trust in my own kitchen. We arrive on time. We listen during the first walkthrough. We work through the home in the same order every time so nothing gets missed. We tell you the truth if a stain is not coming out, instead of charging you to keep trying.

And we share the recipes. The all-purpose vinegar spray we use in your kitchen is on this site. So is the baking soda paste, the lemon spray, and a few others. If you want to try them yourself between cleans, mix them up. You will not need us as often, and that is fine. We would rather earn the visits we do get than lock you into anything.

The boring stuff that matters

Beth's Clean Bloom is a locally owned and operated cleaning business based in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. We serve fourteen municipalities across the county. We are happy to share our policies, references, and the specific products we use. Just ask.
